5 New OPPO Reno Smartphones Are Coming on April 10
OPPO recently submitted five trademark applications to the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the UK Intellectual Property Office, named Reno Pro, Reno Plus, Reno Zoom, Reno Lite, and Reno Youth. We are already familiar with the names that Reno may adopt in the future, such as Pro, Plus, etc., but the rest are new to us.
However, there are some assumptions concerning the upcoming Reno smartphones. Say, the Pro version might support 5G, while the Plus version is hit the large-screen large-battery niche. The Zoom should be flagship version as the name implies, perhaps equipped with 10x zoom hybrid technology of OPPO. The Lite version and Youth version should belong to the same niche of affordable models. It’s not difficult to guess these two are made to attract more customers.
According to the previous OPPO vice president Shen Yiren’s official statement, the OPPO Reno will have the 850 flagships of the Snapdragon, Sony’s 48-megapixel outsole sensor, 4064mAh large capacity battery, and the new ColorOS 6 system.
OPPO’s new series Reno has been warming up for a long time and will be released on April 10. The exposure of the five trademarks indicates that OPPO has the possibility to release a variety of Reno phones.
Starting in 2018, we notice a unique trend in the smartphone market. Almost all Chinese top brands either have launched new smartphone brands or separated the existing ones. In this regard, Xiaomi freed Redmi; VIVO released iQOO; OPPO launched two new brands of Reno and Realme, etc.
