Alleged Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite Visited TENAA
South Korean smartphone makers, Samsung has a wide range of handsets. There are models for everyone and for any purpose. But this brand is recognized worldwide due to the Galaxy S-series models. The latest of them is the Samsung Galaxy S9 and its enhanced variant. But this doesn’t mean the company has forgotten the previous models. Today, on May 5, a mysterious phone with a model number of SM-G8750 was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Though there is nothing certain what a smartphone we are talking about, most likely, it’s the much-rumored Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite.
As for appearance, the alleged Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite uses a 5.8-inch full-screen with a curved surface. It has a resolution of 2220 × 1080. Thus, the aspect ratio is 18.5:9. On the back, it uses a glass material. There is also a single camera. The dimensions of 148.9 × 68.1 × 8.0mm are perfect for single-hand operations.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite also sports a Snapdragon 660 chip, which is based on a 14nm process node and uses a Kryo 260 architecture, and an octa-core design clocked at 2.2GHz. The SoC is paired with an Adreno 512 GPU, 4+64GB memory combination, and a 3000mAh battery. On the front, it carries an 8MP camera, while the rear camera sports a 16MP sensor. Of course, it runs on Android 8.0.
Generally, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite looks like the original S8 but it’s a bit shrunk. On the other hand, it is packed with a less powerful processor of the Snapdragon 660. But the latter is considered as the best offer in the super mid-range market. As you know, this is a new category of smartphones placed between the high-end and mid-range models.
At last, if taking into account it has visited TENAA today, most likely we’ll be able to get our hands on it as soon as this month.
