The full-screen technology is popular not only in the smartphone market but in the laptops market as well. The first mode with such a design should be considered the Huawei MateBook X Pro. Now it should enter other niches too. As you guess, we are talking about the tablets market. And one of the first models with an 18:9 screen is going to be the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4.

Last night, Xiaomi’s official page hinted they will provide a long-awaited good news this morning at 10.00 AM. Everything happened as scheduled. Today the manufacturer announced it will officially unveil the next-gen tablet dubbed the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 on June 25. It’s reported our protagonist will use an 8i-inch Full HD screen, ideal for single-hand operations.

Previously, we have heard the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 will be packed with a super mid-range chip in face of the Snapdragon 660. At the same time, it was said the screen will sport an aspect ratio of 18:9, an LCD panel, and a pixel density of 320ppi. If you remember, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 comes with a 7.9-inch screen with a 2048×1536 pixel resolution and 326ppi pixel density.

In addition, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is expected to be equipped with a 5MP camera on the front, a 13MP camera on the back, a 6000mAh battery, and it will run on MIUI based on Android 8.1 depth customization.

When the Mi pad 4 passed 3C certification, we saw the tablet will come with a 5V/2A charger and a charging power of 10W.

Actually, with the increasing popularity of full-screen smartphones, the presence of tablets is becoming weaker and weaker. So we have to wait a little more to understand whether Xiaomi will bring innovations or not.
