ELEPHONE Launching VIVO NEX-Like Phone Soon

The VIVO NEX was the first genuine full-screen smartphone. Later it was followed by the OPPO Find X. And though the latter looks more innovative and with a sense of technology, we can’t deny the fact the NEX brought a quite new trend to the smartphone market. Like all other cases, it’s been expected this technology will be adopted by the second-tier China-based manufacturers. We were right. The first of them will be ELEPHONE (Elephant Communication). On July 27, the manufacturer announced on Weibo I will launch the company’s first full-screen flagship with a pop-up camera soon.

ELEPHONE NEX

Many are not familiar with ELEPHONE. But this company has been known for its ultra-cheap smartphones that sport flagship-like appearance and provide an acceptable performance. Time changes and the goals of such companies change as well. It turns out ELEPHONE wants to expand its market and exceed the 10 million units sold yearly in Europe, North America, South America, and the Middle East. To implement this plan, the manufacturer should bring a real flagship to the market. Seems it’s coming.

ELEPHONE NEX

According to the official photos and information, the new flagship of ELEPHONE will look like the VIVO NEX. Besides the full-screen design, it also will sport a lifting camera. The same vertically-arranged dual-camera is on the back as well. You will be surprised, but seems the on-screen fingerprint identification technology become a mast for Android phones. And the new ELEPHONE smartphone will support it as well.

ELEPHONE NEX

At last, the company has announced the screen ratio has reached 95%, which is more than that on the OPPO Find X. The latter comes with a 93.8% screen ratio. Moreover, the forthcoming phone will support wireless charging. The rest of the features will be disclosed gradually. The phone is expected to hit the market by the end of 2018 or early 2019.
