VIVO Z3 Officially Announced: Xiaomi and Honor Confused
As scheduled, today, VIVO held a new product launch conference at the Beijing Lanjing Art Center and officially released the VIVO Z3. According to the official introduction, the VIVO Z series is born for internet enthusiasts mainly. But at the same time, it has a powerful performance and a trendy appearance.
Generally, the VIVO Z3 uses a 6.3-inch 19:9 ratio full-screen, with a ‘new generation’ water drop design. The screen ratio increased to 90.3%. There are a few amazing color options you can choose from. Those color include the Starry Night Black, Dream Powder, and Aurora Blue.
As for the hardware, the phone is packed with a Snapdragon 670/710 processor. The SND670 variant comes with a 4GB+64GB memory combination, while the SND710 model has two options of 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB.
The Snapdragon 710 is a pseudo-flagship chip, using a 10nm process, the third generation of the Kyro architecture, with a frequency up to 2.2GHz and a 20% improvement in processing performance. In addition, thanks to the 6-series Adreno 616 GPU, the graphics processing speed increased by 35%. At last, due to the professional multi-core AI Engine, the application performance increased to up to 200%.
The VIVO Z3 features a dual-core 12MP camera on the front, while on the back, it has a 16MP AI dual-camera. The phone supports infrared face + fingerprint recognition. The new machine has a built-in battery with a capacity of 3315mAh and is equipped with dual-engine flash charging technology.
At the same time, the VIVO Z3 supports the company’s own Dual-Turbo engine (including system and game acceleration), which has modified the Android core module by nearly 20%, the application startup speed by 10.4%, and the red envelope speed by 18.3%. The stability increased by 31.3%. Moreover, VIVO has become the first smartphone manufacturer to cooperate with the game engine Unreal Engine in China, and jointly optimized with Tencent Game Lab and Netease Game Lab. As a result, the game loading speed increased by 27.6%, the fluency under stress test increased by 30.3%, and the game’s anti-drop frame ability has increased by more than 300%.
In terms of pricing, the VIVO Z3 4GB+64GB SND670 version costs 1598 yuan ($230), the 6GB+64GB version is available at 1898 yuan ($274), and the 6GB+128GB version is sold for 2298 yuan ($332). The pre-sale has already begun, but the phones will appear on shelves only on November 1.
