Alleged Xiaomi Mi 7 Photo Showcases Familiar Dual-Camera Layout

Last year, at Qualcomm Second Annual Snapdragon Technology Summit Lei Jun, was on the stage as well and announced Xiaomi will launch a Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone. It will be the Xiaomi Mi 7, undoubtedly. Though nothing certain has been said about this handset, it’s expected to release in March with an official announcement in late February at MWC 2018. Today a new leaked photo showcases the back of the phone. This photo helps us in understanding some of its design elements as well as the materials used on the phone.

As we can judge from the photo, the Xiaomi Mi 7 will sport a dual-camera module on the back. This is not surprising, but many have been thinking it will use a vertical layout adopted by the iPhone. There is also a dual-flash. If this photo is real, the phone will continue using the same camera layout seen on the current Mi flagships such as the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi Note 3. Apart from this, this device will use a glass + metal combination. The edges are curved a lot for a better grip.

Earlier we have seen a few spotted photos showing the Xiaomi Mi 7 will be using a bangs full-screen design like the iPhone X. But this model will come with a 6.01-inch screen using an LCD technology.

As for the hardware, the Mi 7 is supposed to sport a Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB of RAM, a 12MP dual-camera using the Sony IMX363 sensors, built-in 3500mAh battery, and it should support wireless charging.
