ASUS Rog Gaming Phone 2 Exceeded 1 mln Yuan Mark In 1 Day
Yesterday, Asustek held the 2019 ROG new product launch conference, and officially released the ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 2. One day later, this handset reached 1.09 million yuan ($0.16 million) reservations in Jingdong. The number of appointments is still rising.
The ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 2 is equipped with an AMOLED gaming screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Its screen size is 6.59 inches. The resolution is 2340×1080. It supports HDR 10. And the touch sampling rate is 240Hz. There is a built-in 6000 mA battery, which supports QC4.0 fast charge. The charging is implemented straight in conjunction with Hyper Charge technology, which keeps the phone cool during the process.
In terms of performance, the ASUS ROG Gaming Phone 2 is equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus, clocked at 2.96GHz. It sports up to 12GB of memory and up to 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Moreover, the phone supports 3D steam cooling system as well as external clip coolers.
The ROG Gaming Phone 2 features a 24-megapixel front camera and dual rear camera. The latter consists of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and an auxiliary 13-megapixel 125 degree super wide-angle sensor.
One of the noteworthy features of the phone is the Solar Core Tencent gaming core performance optimization. But this is not the all. It also comes with a 4-antenna Wi-Fi layout, matrix liquid cooling, Air Triggers shoulder keys, AURA Shenguang exclusive synchronization and more.
There are 4 versions. The Tencent game custom elite version (8 + 128GB) costs 3499 yuan ($509). The classic version (12 + 512GB) is priced at 5999 yuan ($872). The extreme version’s price is 7999 yuan ($1163). And the e-sports armor variant is at 12,999 yuan ($1890).
