ASUS Zenfone Max and Zenfone Max Pro Launched

A few hours back, ASUS has launched the Zenfone Max (M2) and Zenfone Max Pro (M2). These new smartphones will be available in India starting tomorrow and December 18, respectively.

Both phones run the native Android system and will receive an Android 9 Pie update in January. In addition, users can get 100GB of Google Drive storage.

ASUS Zenfone Max

The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro (M2) uses the Snapdragon 660 chipset with a 6.26-inch bangs screen, which has a resolution of 1080P+ and a base model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, whilst the high model comes with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There are provided two SIM cards and one microSD card slot.

ASUS Zenfone Max

The Zenfone Max Pro sports a rear dual-camera with a sensors combination of 12MP + 5MP. The main camera is the Sony IMX486 sensor, with a 1.25μm pixel size and a f/1.8 aperture. There is another dual-camera on the front with a sensors combination of 13MP + 5MP as well as a LED flash.

This amazing handset comes with a large-capacity 5,000mAh battery, a fingerprint reader on the back, and a face-free unlock function. The speaker has the NXP SmartAmp function.

The ASUS Zenfone Max (M2) uses a 6.26-inch screen, but the resolution is reduced to 720p + with the Snapdragon 632 chipset and 4,000mAh battery. The rear camera uses a 13MP main camera module (1.12μm, f/1.8) and a 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing 8MP self-shooting head is also equipped with a dedicated LED flash.

Both models are equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and use a micro USB for a charging power of 10W.

In terms of pricing, the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 is priced at 12,999 Indian rupees ($180), and the ASUS ZenFone Max M2 is priced at 9999 Indian rupees ($138).
