CoolPad Cool Play 7 Went on Sale at 799 Yuan
The full-screen smartphones have become a mainstream. All smartphone vendors have managed to launch their own devices with such technology. And though there are various types of this screen, the one with bangs is the most popular. Initially, it came our way from Apple, when the Cupertino-based manufacturer launched the iPhone X. But now you can find tons of phones using the same design. One of such products were announced a couple of days ago. And what’s amazing, it comes from a second-tier Chinese smartphone vendor. The CoolPad Cool Play 7 is an entry-level smartphone, priced at starting 799 yuan. Today, it went on sale.
The CoolPad Cool Play 7 is packed with a 5.85-inch full-screen that has a notch on the top. However, the screen ratio is too high at 90%. Practically, this means there are no wide borders. As for hardware, there are not many features it can boast of. The phone is equipped with a MediaTek MT6750 chip. The latter, in its turn, is paired with a 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. The battery capacity is 2800mAh.
In terms of appearance, the CoolPad Cool Play 7 uses a long screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The fuselage length is 151mm, the width is 73.4mm, and the thickness is 8.8mm. The back is made of a glass material, sing a sapphire pattern cutting process, joined the original nano-scale anti-fingerprint coating. The middle frame is made out of a zinc alloy material.
As for photography, the CoolPad Cool Play 7 sports a 13MP dual-camera on the back that supports PDAF. Two camera sensors work together to achieve an SLR camera with a shallow depth of field. The front camera has an 8MP resolution. It also supports AI facial recognition, built-in AI voice assistant, but retaining the back fingerprint design. The selfie camera can affect many alterations like big eyes, face-lift, skin brightening, body whitening and another multi-self-timer effect.
The 4GB + 64GB version sells for 899 Yuan ($132), while the 4GB + 32GB will be sold for 799 Yuan ($118.
