Honor 20i Released,Coming With Fashionable Look and More

This afternoon, Honor held the first new product launch of 2019 in Beijing 751 Fashion Square, and officially released the first new product of the Honor 20 series, namely the Honor 20i.

This handset is considered to be more fashionable, to cost less, and sports a better configuration that the V series. All these features are obviously reflected in the Honor 20i. In terms of appearance, the 20i adopts a 6.21-inch pearl screen with a resolution of 2340*1080 and a screen ratio of 90%+. It also supports the German TUV RTU eye protection mode.

The 3D glare fuselage presents a gradual flow effect of both blue and purple and red and purple. The overall look is very dynamic, in line with the current design trend of smartphones. Actually, the Honor 20i is available in three color versions: Gradient Red, Gradient Blue, and Night Black.

In terms of configuration, the Honor 20i is equipped with the Kirin 710 processor, supplemented by the largest 6GB + 256GB storage combination (support 512GB storage expansion), GPU Turbo 2.0, a built-in 3400mAh battery, a microUSB interface, and so on. The machine also supports face unlocking and fingerprint recognition.

However, the biggest highlight of the Honor 20i still remains its camera. There is a 32MP AI front-facing camera, which supports automatic identification of the five-point tuning function. With 4-in-1 sensitized lens and screen ring fill light technology, it can adapt to the dark light environment. It also supports AI backlighting function, AI multi-frame exposure synthesis technology, and clear backlighting.

On the back, our protagonist comes with a 24MP + 8MP (wide angle) + 2MP (depth of field) AI three-camera. The latter supports handheld super night scene, AI smart image stabilization, super slow motion video, intelligent recognition of 22 independent scenes, 500 scene combination, etc.

The Honor 20i comes with Android 9-based EMUI 9.0.1 system, which supports AI calorie recognition, AI smart communication (high-speed rail mode, elevator mode), AI accompanying translation, and other features.

In addition, Honor also launched a special edition dubbed as the Honor 20i AAPE with the fashion brand Aape. It uses a very personalized camouflage back shell design, introducing a customized box, boot animation, and wallpaper.

In terms of price, the Honor 20i has four storage versions in total. The 6+64GB version is for 1599 yuan, the 4+128GB version is for 1599 yuan, the 6+128GB version is for 1899 yuan, and the 6+256GB version for 2199 yuan. It will go on sale tomorrow, while the Honor 20i AAPE Special Edition (6+256GB) is priced at 2,199 yuan and will be available in May.
