Honor V30 To Come With Multiple Highlights, Including 5G and Powerful Camera

Zhao Ming, president of Honor, said in an interview at the World Internet Conference in November that the Honor V30 flagship will be released this month. There is not much information about this handset at the moment, but we have learned that it will be equipped with the Kirin 990 series processor and will support dual-mode 5G signals.

Today, some other news came our way from the net. It’s said the communication capabilities are not the only highlights of this phone. LetsGoDigital, Huawei has registered two trademarks in Europe. One is ‘Cine-Camera’ and the other is ‘Camera Matrix’. It is obvious that the former refers to the movie footage of the Huawei Mate 30 series, and the latter has not yet appeared on corresponding promotional terms. Therefore, the LetsGoDigital guess that maybe it is related to the Honor V30.

Photography is the field that Honor has been insisting on. In view of the phenomenon that the flagship phone camera on the market favors high pixels, the Honor expressed its opinion in yesterday’s live broadcast. It means that high pixels are only a development direction of smartphone photography but it also requires software support to get a better user experience. The other direction is to enrich the amount of information available to a single pixel. This may suggest that Honor will choose the latter.

The release of the Honor V30 is scheduled for November 26. The powerful AI performance and the combination of virtual reality will be another selling point of the V30.

Combined with the information got earlier, we can assume the Honor V30 will sport the latest camera sensor IMX 686 like the V20, which was the first to come with the IMX 586 last year, with a unit pixel size of 1.8μm.
