HTC U12+ Shown on Photos: Quad-Camera Confirmed

One of those rare smartphone makers that haven’t launched a flagship phone in 2018 yet is the Taiwanese HTC. According to the previous rumors, this company is going to launch the HTC U12+ in May. We have even seen the specs list of the next-gen HTC premium phone. And we have to admit it looks quite attractive. Today the real photos of this handset appeared on the net through Topa-3C.

If combining these photos with the previous leaks we have the complete picture of the upcoming phone. It turns out the HTC U12+ will sport a quad-camera – two on the back and two on the front. The dual-camera is placed in the center of the back. It is accompanied by the flashlight and a fingerprint scanner. The other two sensors are located on the upper left corner of the front panel next to the speaker. They are said to use 8MP lenses, while the ones located on the back should be using 16MP and 12MP sensors. One of them is rumored to be the Sony IMX363 – the same sensor found on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S.

As for the front, the HTC U12+ doesn’t adopt the trendiest bangs screen. Instead, it comes with a symmetrical 6-inch full-screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. In addition, the HTC U12+ is equipped with a Snapdragon 845 most powerful chip, which in its turn is paired with a 6+128GB memory combination and a 3420mAh battery.

Seems all these rumors sound trustworthy. So once the HTC U12+, it could make a tough competition to the top brands. Maybe, the Taiwanese company could get its former popularity gradually.
