Huawei Enjoy 8 Goes On Sale At Starting Price of 1299 Yuan

A few days back, another full-screen smartphone designed for the low-end market was unveiled. The Huawei Enjoy 8 has come to make a tough competition to such models as the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and every smartphone that thinks it is competing with the aforementioned device. Today, on March 30, the Chinese tech giant officially announced the phone goes on sale in two variants – the 3+32GB is priced at 1299 yuan ($206), while the 4+64GB model costs 1499 yuan ($238). Thus, this is the second smartphone that has become available for purchase today after the Huawei Honor 7C.

The Huawei Enjoy 8 sports a 5.99-inch full-screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The body thickness is 7.8mm and it weighs 155 grams. You can choose any from three color options including gold, black, and blue.

As for hardware, the Huawei Enjoy 8 is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, 3000mAh battery, a 13+2MP rear camera supporting a portrait mode, an 8MP front shooter with a f/2.0 aperture and beauty support, and EMUI 8.0 software out of the box.

In terms of functionality, the Huawei Enjoy 8 supports a face recognition and fingerprint recognition for double unlocking. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that the phone comes with a three-card slot design. So you can simultaneously insert two SIM cards and a MicroSD card supporting up to 256GB memory expansion.

Apart from this, the company also unveiled two other models from this series in face of the Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus and Enjoy 8e. As the names suggest, the former one comes with a little-enhanced specs list, while the latter sports a smaller screen size and a bit weaker specs list.
