Huawei Enjoy 9s, Enjoy 9e, and MediaPad M5 Lite Announced

Today, Huawei held a new product launch conference in Xi’an, and announced the new Huawei Enjoy 9S, Enjoy 9e, and the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite tablet.

The Huawei Enjoy 9S sports a 6.21-inch drop screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, 85% high color gamut, 415PPI, and 89% screen ratio. Under the hood, it’s equipped with the Kirin 710 processor with GPU Tubro 2.0 and Huawei super file system support. In its turn, it is paired with up to 4+128GB storage combination, a 3400mAh battery, and runs on the EMUI 9.0 system. In terms of design, this handset uses a vacuum plating process body, with a ceramic texture, and is available in magic night black, aurora blue, and coral red.

One of the most attractive features of this mid-ranger is the 8MP single camera on the front that supports AI beauty. On the back, the Huawei Enjoy 9S is packed with a three-camera, consisting of 24MP + 16MP + 2MP sensors combination. Of course, it supports support AI super night scene, smart stabilization, 480 frames of super slow motion, 16 times slow motion, AI smart scene recognition, and other functions.

When it comes to the selling price, the Huawei Enjoy 9S looks quite attractive as well. The 4+64GB variant is available at 1499 yuan ($223), while the 4+128GB model costs 1699 yuan ($253). The pre-sales will be opened at 16:08 on March 25, and it will go on stores 10:08 am on April 2.

Apart from the Huawei Enjoy 9S, the company also announced the more affordable Huawei Enjoy 9e. This device sports a 6.09-inch drop screen with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels and an 87% screen ratio. It is also equipped with a MediaTek MT6765 octa-core processor that is based on a 12nm process node and is clocked at 2.3GHz, which is coupled with a 3+64GB storage space, a 3020mAh battery, and runs on EMUI 9.0 system. There are three colors as well, such as magic night black, sapphire blue, and amber brown.

The Huawei Enjoy 9e is packed with an 8MP front-facing camera, which supports a dark face unlock, and a 13MP rear camera. The latter has an f/1.8 large aperture and supports HDR and multi-frame noise reduction technology. Also, this smartphone supports headset-free FM radio, Party mode and so on. It is worth mentioning that the Huawei Enjoy 9e comes with HUAWEI SuperSound technology, and the maximum loudness of the smartphone is doubled that of ordinary phones.

The Huawei Enjoy 9e has the only 3+64GB version, which is priced at 999 yuan ($149). It will be sold at 10:08 am on April 11.

At the end of the conference, the company also introduced a new version of the Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite. This is an 8-inch tablet based on the original model, which comes with a 10-inch display. This version is equipped with a Kirin 710 processor (the 10-inch version is equipped with a Kirin 659), a 5100mAh battery supporting up to 10 hours of HD video playback, and up to 4+64GB of storage combination. The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite 8.0-inch version supports AI Smart Voice and dual stereo speakers. The tablet also specializes in children’s playgrounds, coming with a built-in preschool education content, supports multiple eye protection, and also has a built-in attitude detection sensor to avoid lying down and maintain a healthy sitting position.

The 3+32GB WiFi version is priced at 1199 yuan ($179), the 6+64GB WiFi version is priced at 1399 yuan ($208); the 3+32GB 4G version is priced at 1499 yuan ($223), and the 4+64GB version is priced at 1599 yuan ($238). It will be sold at 10:08 am on April 10.
