Huawei Honor 10 Will Come With a FullView Screen

2017 was known for the full-screen trend. Almost all manufacturers launched their own models with such a design. Huawei was no exception. But what’s more interesting, this mainstream will remain 2018 as well. Although we are waiting for a few changes. Today, the German media WinFuture Webmaster Roland Quandt tweeted that ‘Honor GER says ‘there will be no new Honor phones that do not have a FullView display’ (18:9 ratio) from this point on’. This simply means all upcoming Honor-series models will sport a full-screen. Therefore, the next-gen Huawei Honor 10 should be packed with an identical feature as well.

Huawei Honor 10

On one hand, this is a quite expected announcement, because the full-screen design is the trendiest feature around the globe. So it would be naïve to think Huawei won’t bring it to one of its annual flagships. On the other hand, Huawei is using ‘another approach’ to full-screen. Unlike the iPhone X that comes with a ‘bangs’ screen or the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 that uses a tri-bezel-less display, Huawei has adopted a design having both the forehead and chin. Moreover, it didn’t remove the home button from the chin. So the phones we have at this moment, and the announcement we have heard cause too many questions.

Apart from this, if the Huawei Honor 10 uses a FullView display, what the company will do with the fingerprint recognition. Seems, putting it on the back is outdated. So when the home button is removed, it should switch to the under-display fingerprint technology like the VIVO X20 Plus UD. There is also an assumption that Huawei will come in with a face recognition feature.

Well, the Huawei P20 is set to launch on March 27 in Paris, France. And most likely, we’ll hear something about the Huawei Honor 10 as well. It is rumored to sport the Kirin 970 chip and 6GB of RAM.
