Huawei Honor Play 7C Visits TENAA

Every year Huawei launches four versions for its Honor Play series. Say, last year it released the Huawei Honor Play 6, 6X, 6C, and 6A. The C-letter variant is the most expensive of the rest, but its price is around 1000 yuan ($159). Last year, in October, the manufacturer launched the first full-screen smartphone of the Honor line, the Huawei Honor Play 7X. And now, seems we are going to see the Huawei Honor Play 7C.

Three new models appeared on TENAA with code-names of LND-AL30, LND-AL40, and LND-TL30. If nothing changed, these are going to be the different versions of the Huawei Honor Play 7C. Though no details have been provided by TENAA, we can make some assumptions looking at the photos. First, it’s going to sport a full-screen design like its sibling. Second, it sports a dual-camera on the back, and the body is made of metal.

As for the only 7th-gen Honor Play series model, the Huawei Honor Play 7X comes with a 5.93-inch full-screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9, a Kirin 659 chip, 4GB of RAM, 32/64/128GB of internal storage, 16+2MP rear camera, an 8MP front shooter, 3340mAh battery, front-mounted fingerprint scanner, and it was priced at 1299/1699/1999 yuan ($207/270/318).

Maybe, the Kirin 659 chip will be replaced by a Snapdragon chip on the Huawei Honor Play 7C. But the rest of features should remain the same. So the pricing can increase by 200-300 yuan ($31-47). But this will affect its competitiveness, because there is the Xiaomi Redmi 5 with identical features but for less price tag.
