Huawei Mate 20 X Launched In Taiwan at NT$22,900
The Chinese tech giant company Huawei is always trying to satisfy all of its customers. This manufacturer has a lot of devices for different niches, but the Mate series is unique and the most expensive. Starting this line with the Huawei Mate 8, the company developed its philosophy during the time, and now the Huawei Mate 20 X is the latest smartphone in this line. On January 19, this handset equipped with a 7.2-inch giant AMOLED screen was first sold in the Taiwan market, which triggered a buying spree. There were thousands of people queuing for purchase in Taipei Breeze Nanshan, Taiwan Chinese Heart Show, and Kaohsiung Dream Times. The Mate 20 X 6GB+128GB variant is priced at NT$22,900 ($742).
The Taipei Breeze Nanshan Huawei Experience Store is Huawei’s 10th experience store in Taiwan. The latter has been built for the highest-end customers, who also have many requirements for the Huawei products. After the Lunar New Year, Huawei’s new experience store will soon open in Kaohsiung’s new Rising River, with an area of 200 square meters, and increased after-sales service and experience interaction.
Before that, Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro were listed in Taiwan. All the phones from this family come with the world’s first 7nm chip, namely Kirin 980. Also, the dual-core NPU design makes this phone greatly improve AI performance. It is paired with a 6GB of RAM and a 128GB of storage. The battery has 5000mAh capacity, which supports 4.5V/5A (22.5W) Super Charge. This allows the phone to reach 49% of battery power in 30 minutes. In terms of heat dissipation, the Huawei Mate 20 X uses a graphene liquid cooling system. Actually, it is a combination of graphene material + VC liquid cold plate into the phone.
