Huawei MateBook X Pro 13.9 Announced With Crazy Features

Today was a great day for Huawei and a few other manufacturers. But Huawei was in the spotlight. Though it’s skipping the MWC 2018 in terms of announcing its flagship smartphones, today we saw the world’s first full-view notebook dubbed as the Huawei MateBook X Pro 13.9. It’s a great laptop packed with the latest Intel Core-i chips but seems its selling points is the 91% screen to body ratio.

The Huawei MateBook X Pro 13.9 comes with an LTPS screen with a whopping resolution of 3000X2000 pixels, 260PPI pixel density, SRGB color gamut, up to 450nits of brightness, and 1500: 1 contrast ratio with extremely bright performance. It is worth mentioning that the notebook screen is multi-touch and is covered with the Gorilla Glass.

The next selling point is the front camera that is not on the display. It is hidden to the top of the F key that is located between the F6 and F7 keys. So the camera will open when necessary and hide when not used.

The body is made of metal with ‘perfect diamond trimming.’ Its thickness is 4.9mm, while the laptop weighs 1.33kg only. However, such a thin body didn’t prevent the company from putting a few interfaces on the sides. There is one USB-A, two USB-C, and a headphone jack. It also comes with Dolby sound +4 speakers. Huawei MateBook X Pro 13.9 has two color options – silver and gray.

The batter is up to 57.4 watts that provides up to 12 hours of video playback, 14 hours of working in Office, 15 hours of web browsing, and as you can guess it supports a fast-charging technology – charge half an hour to use for 6 hours.

At last, there are few variants. The i5-8250U processor +8GB RAM + 256GB storage + MX150 graphics version is priced at 1499 euros. The i7-8550U processor + 8GB memory + 512GB storage + MX150 graphics version is priced at 1699 euros. And the high-end i7-8550U processor + 16GB memory + 512GB storage + MX150 graphics version is priced at 1899 euros.
