Huawei P20 Lite Renderings Showcase iPhone X-like Bangs Screen

Yesterday we learned Huawei had sent out invitations for its upcoming event that should take place on March 27 in Paris, France. The reason why one of the most important conferences was pushed back to March instead of MWC 2018 in late February is related to the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+. This handset is going to be in the spotlight. So Huawei decided to release its flagship separately. Well, that’s quite logical, and no one can complain about this. But the invitation letters caused a huge stir. The net was buzzing about the tri-camera that should appear on the Huawei P20. But there were people thinking those three circles on the invitation letters don’t concern the camera. They hint at three models to be unveiled at the event. And those three models should be the Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Plus, and Huawei P20 Lite. As you guess, the former one is the regular variant of its annual flagship, while the P20+ is the higher variant that should sport a larger screen. Finally, the P20 Lite is thought to be the lighter variant. Today, OnLeaks published the renders of this phone. Let’s get acquainted with its design and key features.

Huawei P20 Lite

As we can see, the selling point of the Huawei P20 Lite is the full-screen. But unlike other Huawei full-screen phones, it uses a bangs screen used by the iPhone X. Although, the forehead is way shorter. It also comes with a metal frame and a glass body. The dual-camera as a vertical layout. But what’s more interesting it comes with a fingerprint scanner, which simply means it won’t use the facial recognition technology like the iPhone X. The rest of specs include the dimensions of 148.6 × 71.2 × 7.4mm, a 5.7-inch screen, and a chip from the Kirin 6XX series.
