Huawei P30 Pro Will Use Bangs Curved OLED Screen

The Huawei P20 series was launched on March 27, 2018. According to the release time of Huawei P series, it is no surprise that Huawei P30 series will be released in March to April next year. So it’s quite logical to get some breaking news that is slowly picking up the ‘mystery’ of the P20 successor, namely the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro.

Huawei P30 Pro

According to Ice Cosmic Twitter, the Huawei P30 Pro may use the OLED curved screen with bangs or a drop. The reason why the P30 series does not use the on-screen camera technology is not unrelated to the supplier.

Huawei’s upcoming Nova 4 and Honor V20 adopt the under-screen aperture technology. From the price analysis, they should use the LCD screen instead of the OLED screen. After all, the only manufacturer that can produce such OLED screens is Samsung. Thus, currently, there is only one display with such an option and it’s the Samsung’s Infinity-O screen.

Previously, Huawei has said it would be using BOE and LG as its suppliers of OLED screens. From this analysis, the Huawei P30 Pro will use the same bangs or water droplet OLED screen as the Mate 20 Pro.

Recently, some bloggers broke the news, announcing the Huawei P30 Pro is expected to come with Sony’s new IMX607 sensor, which has 38MP resolution, a 1/1.8-inch outsole CMOS, uses dual-Bayer HDR encoding, HDR pixel array, which not only enhances the HDR function but also supports four-pixel DAF focusing, has three native ISO (50/500/5000) specifications, and is optimized for night scenes.

After the conclusion of the Kirin 980 conference, Yu Chengdong accepted an interview with the media. When asked about Huawei’s ‘impressive sales performance in the near future’, Yu Chengdong first talked about the Huawei P30, saying the Mate 20 will sell better than the P20 series, and next year’s Huawei P30 will be even better.
