Lenovo Z5 Pro GT 855 Version Launching Tomorrow Morning

On January 29, Lenovo Group Vice President Chang Cheng announced that the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT 855 version will be officially launched at 10 AM on January 30. Thus, it will be the first smartphone packed with the flagship mobile platform of Snapdragon 855 to go on sale in 2019.

In terms of price tags, the 6GB+128GB version of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is priced at 2,698 yuan ($401), the 8GB+128GB version is priced at 2,998 yuan ($445), and the 8GB+256GB version is priced at 3,398 yuan ($505). The 12GB+512GB version will not be on the shelves yet.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT 855 version is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform. The latter is based on a 7nm process technology, uses a new three-cluster octa-core architecture, the GPU is Adreno 640, and the AnTuTu running points exceed 370,000.

Not only that, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT 855 version is considered to be the world’s first 12GB LPDDR4X memory handset. Thus, we are dealing with the most powerful Android flagship.

Other specifications include a 6.39-inch Samsung AMOLED display, a front-facing 16MP + 8MP dual-camera, a rear 24MP + 16MP dual-camera, and a battery with a 3350mAh capacity. What’s more surprising, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT 855 version is equipped with the fifth generation of photoelectric screen fingerprints.

Chang Cheng, vice president of Lenovo Group, said that Lenovo ended the era of smartphone profiteering in 2018, and will lead the ultra-flagship era in 2019. Looking at the recent performance of Lenovo smartphones and the activity in this business, it’s quite expected Lenovo will make a tough competition to the top brands.
