Lenovo Z5 Pro With a Sliding Structure to Come in October

On September 27, Liu Jun, executive vice president and president of China Group, released the Lenovo slider phone, and now officially announced more details of this handset. A bit later, Lenovo Mobile disclosed the phone’s name. It’s the upgraded variant of the current Lenovo flagship, namely the Lenovo Z5 Pro. It will be officially released in October.

At the same time, the company officially released the Lenovo Z5 Pro wallpaper. According to the wallpaper information, the resolution of the Lenovo slider phone is 2246×1080, and the aspect ratio of the screen is 18.7:9.

The biggest highlight of the machine is going to be the nearly 100% screen ratio. So the visual effect is going to be outstanding after lighting the screen. Moreover, the screen fingerprint recognition is supported. So on the one hand, the inconvenience of unlocking the back fingerprint is solved, and on the other hand, the visual integration of the back is ensured. Both are obtained.

As seen from the naming, the Lenovo Z5 Pro is an upgraded version of the Lenovo Z5. Thus, in terms of configuration, it is going to be a mid-range handset. Considering that the Lenovo Z5 is equipped with the Snapdragon 636 processor, there is every reason to think the Lenovo Z5 Pro may be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon mid-range chip as well. It is unlikely that the Snapdragon 8 Series flagship chip will be used.

At present, Qualcomm’s optional mid-range chips include the Snapdragon 660, the Snapdragon 670 and the Snapdragon 710. The Lenovo Z5 Pro may choose one of the above three chips.

In addition, Xiaomi President Lin Bin also predicted that the Xiaomi slider phone will also be released in October. So if both models come simultaneously, which of them will you consider buying?
