Max Sun Launches Dictator F1 Solid State Drive With RGB Lighting

The game industry continues rising despite everything. There are special design elements used in the products from this niche mainly. First, it’s the RGB lighting. All latest smartphones, laptops, headphones, keyboards, and other products come with an RGB light strip. But who said this design element can’t be used in other products. Actually, the RGB light strips have become quite popular in the hardware industry as well. Water cooling fans, motherboards, memories, and even power lines can be RGB. Recently, Max Sun launched an RGB light-emitting solid state drive, the effect of which is gorgeous. The latest RGB SSD is called the Dictator F7. Its 480GB variant is priced at 399 yuan ($57), which is equivalent to eight cents per GB. Agree this is quite an attractive price tag for an SSD with an RGB light strip.

Seems nothing but processor can shine. This standard 2.5-inch SSD adds a new light element to the design, which is symmetrical and similar to the glimpse of the mask shape, especially the two “eyes” are made of honeycomb.

The Max Sun’s latest RGB SSD is the Dictator F7, which uses Huirong 2258XT master, 64-layer 3D NAND granules, and supports Huirong NANDXtend LDPC error correction technology. The latter can make SSD three times more durable. Its positioning is a consumer-grade mainstream performance product with 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB capacity.

According to the CrystalDiskMark 6.0.2 test data, the continuous read and write of the Dictator F7 480GB capacity is about 560MB/s, 520MB/s, 4K random read and write respectively about 46MB/s, 110MB/s. In the current mainstream SATA SSD market, this is a good result.

The Dictator F7 has added a beautiful look and lighting elements. Officials said that a version that supports motherboard synchronization will be available in the future.
