Meizu 15 Plus To Come With Unusual Full-Screen Design

Last year when all manufacturers introduced their own full-screen models, Meizu was quiet. It has had to revise its policy, strategy, and philosophy. Earlier this year we heard Maizu will pay more attention to its most popular Charm Blue series. But what’s more amazing, we were informed the company is going to launch a few full-screen handsets in the first semester of 2018. The first one is already out. The Meizu M6S with a full-screen and low-end features have debuted a few days back. Now we are looking towards the Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus that is going to be super mid-range and high-end full-screen smartphones, respectively.

Obviously, the Meizu 15 Plus is going to be a top-notch smartphone with all the trendiest features. But it will be using another full-screen design. It’s said the 15 Plus will come with narrowed borders as well as a bezel-less bottom. Therefore, it will look like the iPhone X. But if the latter uses the bangs screen, the Meizu 15 Plus is going to uses a forehead, where all the sensors will appear on. This is a quite attractive approach that will help the phone to stand out. Moreover, thanks to it the screen ratio will be over 90%.

As for the differences and features of the Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus, the latter is said to come with an Exynos 8895 chip, which runs on 10nm process node and provides a performance identical to the Snapdragon 835. The lighter variant is rumored to be packed with a Snapdragon 660 super mid-range SoC.

The Meizu M6S was priced 999 yuan. This makes it possible to compete with other entry-level full-screen handsets. As for the Meizu 15 Plus, it’s assumed to come at 3599 yuan ($562).
