In recent years, more and more Chinese smartphone manufacturers have begun to enter the overseas markets. And almost all have achieved good results. The Meizu M8c continues a familiar design style. In some sense, this phone can be considered as the Russian variant of the Blue Charm E3 (aka Meizu E3). The back cover of the phone uses a polycarbonate plastic material. Such a decision should be conditioned by the phone’s price. Plus, the manufacturer has removed the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

As we said, the Meizu M8c is focusing on the entry-level market. This simply means its configuration will be quite modest. There are a 5.45-inch full-screen with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Under the hood, we can find a Snapdragon 425 mobile platform paired with a 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of native storage, and a 3070mAh battery. Thus we can state Meizu has completely switched to Qualcomm. As you remember, all previous phones came with MediaTek chips. But such a move may help Qualcomm in strengthening its monopolistic position. It’s another topic of conversation. Anyway, the phone also sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. They come with apertures of f/2.2 and f/2.0, respectively.

Looking at these specs we can say the Meizu M8c is a common low-end smartphone with no obvious selling points. Thus, it should be useful for those who don’t want to spend much on a smartphone. In this sense, the M8c meets your requirements fully as it’s priced at 9990 Russian rubles ($160).
