Moto G6 Series Three Handsets To Release On April 19

Today, on April 5, Motorola Brazil sent out an invitation to the media announcing that will hold a conference on April 19. Though it didn’t disclose what products it will launch, PhoneArena revealed that Motorola will introduce the new Moto G6 series. It should include three models in face of the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, and Moto G6 Plus.

The handsets will aim at various groups of customers. But among them, we can find models focusing on the mid-range niches as well. Look, the Moto G6 sports a 5.7-inch full-screen with a resolution of 2160 × 1080. It is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, which in its turn is paired with a 3/4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage, 12+5MP rear camera, a 16MP front shooter, and a battery with a capacity of 3000mAh.

The higher model, the Moto G6 Plus is said to feature a 5.93-inch full-screen that provides a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, a Snapdragon 630 chip, 4/6GB of RAM, 32/64GB of native storage, the same 12+5MP rear dual-camera, 16MP front camera, and a 3200mAh battery. Of course, this model looks way more attractive than the previous handset, and it is going to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. So it should be priced appropriately.

As for the Moto G6 Play, this handset uses a 5.7-inch 1440×720 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip, 2/3GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage, a 12MP rear camera, a 5MP front shooter, and a 4000mAh battery.

Taking into account these specs lists, we can say the original Moto G6 and G6 Play are made for the entry-level market, while the G6 Plus is designed for the mid-range niche.
