Nokia 6X Released: Nokia’s First Full-Screen Phone With Notch

Almost all smartphone vendors are already playing a hard offense. They all design smartphones with trendy features and offer them at relatively affordable price tags. Today, the Nokia 6X was officially unveiled. It’s the first full-screen smartphone of Nokia.

The Nokia 6X uses a 5.8-inch 19:9 screen with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels. On the front as well as on the back, it’s covered by a Corning Gorilla Glass. According to the official announcement, the glass coverage reached 95%. The middle frame is made of aluminum alloy. The phone’s dimensions are 147.23×70.96×7.99mm. So we can state it is great in terms of single-hand operations. There are three color options you can choose from – providing dark blue, polar white and star black.

As for hardware, the Nokia 6X is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip clocked at 1.8GHz and paired with an Adreno 509 GPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of native storage, and a 3060mAh battery supporting Quick Charge 3.0.

The Nokia 6X sports a 16+5MP dual-camera on the back, which comes with EIS and adopts a black-and-white and color scheme. It supports focusing after taking pictures. On the front, it carries a 16MP camera with 6 kinds of studio lighting effects, AI beauty support, and integrates 3D algorithm to provide intelligent portrait lighting, blurred images, and blurry depth of field.

This phone comes with a number of special features including mobile housekeeping, application stores, negative-screen, card-type SMS, and application dual-opening.

In terms of price, the Nokia X6 4GB+32GB is priced at 1299 yuan, the 4GB+64GB is priced at 1499 yuan, and the 6GB+64GB is priced at 1699 yuan. It will go on sale on May 21.
