Nokia X Visited TENAA: Expected to Launch on May 16

Previously, it was rumored Nokia is going to launch a new smartphone for the mid-range market. It is named the Nokia X. Under the control of HMD, Nokia brand has achieved a very good sales performance on a global scale. At the beginning of this year, several phones were released in one breath, and most of them entered the Chinese market. By the way, this is one of the most important reasons why it succeeded.

Yesterday, a new model TA-1099 was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It’s believed we are dealing with the same Nokia X. Thus it uses a double-sided glass design with a metal frame in the middle. The dual-camera is placed vertically in the upper center part of the rear panel. The fingerprint scanner is located below the camera, while the Nokia logo is a step lower. There are two color options including silver and black.

In terms of configuration, the Nokia X comes with a 5.8-inch screen with a resolution of 2280 × 1080. As you guess, it’s a full-screen. Under the hood, the phone carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform coupled with up to a 6GB RAM, a 64GB storage space, and a built-in 3000mAh capacity battery. The Nokia X runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
