Nokia X5 Will Launch Tomorrow at a Price Tag of 799 Yuan

Back in June, the Nokia X5 visited the Telecom Equipment Certification Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. According to the documents, the appearance of the Nokia X5 is almost the same as that of the previous Nokia X6. Thus, it uses a 19:9 notch screen and a rear-mounted dual-camera design. However, last week, it was announced the phone will be released as soon as on July 11. This date came and passed but we didn’t see the X5 that had been promised to be priced at starting 799 yuan. Later we learned the conference was temporally delayed. Now we have other news concerning the upcoming event of this phone.

According to the latest news, the Nokia X5 will be uncovered tomorrow, on July 18. And it’s claimed this release conference will be way cooler than the one we had been waiting for before. Actually, Nokia is working hard to get back its former popularity. And as HMD claims they will back to the top in a few years. The Nokia X5 is an entry-level smartphone and many think such models can’t help the company to implement its plans. But the truth is the cheap models sell more.

The previous leaks disclosed the complete specs list of the Nokia X5. According to them, the phone will be using a full-screen with a low resolution of 1520×720. Under the hood, it will carry a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, which will be paired with a few memory combinations such as 3GB+32GB, 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB as well as a 3000mAh battery. The device will run on Android 8.1, but as Nokia claims it will be upgraded to Android 9.0 quickly after its launch.
