OPPO Reno 3 Pro To Sport Snapdragon 765G and More

The OPPO Reno 3 series 5G smartphones will be released in Hangzhou on December 26. The entire series sports a built-in 5G integrated chip and supports SA/NSA dual-mode 5G networks. Now Qualcomm has confirmed that the  OPPO Reno 3 Pro version will come with the Snapdragon 765G processor.

The OPPO Reno 3 series has two versions, the OPPO Reno 3 and the OPPO Reno 3 Pro. Previously, due to the leaked information, we learned this handset will support 5G. Now, it is officially confirmed that the higher variant will host Qualcomm’s model. But what about the original variant? There is every reason to think it will come with the MediaTek 5G chip.

Apart from this, Shen Yiren, vice president of OPPO, stated on Weibo that some users have submitted unreliable information. The OPPO Reno 3 Pro will support the enhanced version of VOOC 4.0 fast charging. The latter should charge to 50% in 20 minutes, and it can fully charge the phone in 56 minutes.

Another feature we learned about recently is the 360-degree surround antenna design. When playing the game, the smartphone can keep the signal stable.

Shen Yiren also said the OPPO Reno 3 Pro uses a hyperboloid flexible screen. The latter will have a very small hole for the camera as well as to support a 90Hz refresh rate. This is the first 90Hz hyperboloid punch-hole screen model to come to the Chinese market. Unlike the Pro variant, the original version will use an AMOLED drop screen.

In terms of OPPO Reno 3 Pro body thickness, it is 7.7mm, while the original phone comes with a thickness of 7.96mm.

Recently, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G has been entered into the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. And we know, it uses a 6.5-inch screen, a rear quad-camera, consisting of 48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors combination, a 32MP front-facing camera, etc.
