Realem 3i To Hit Indian Market on July 15 Along With Realme X

Realme is OPPO’s new smartphone line that makes phones for emerging markets mainly. The first models have managed to appear in India and the likes. The new device from this series has been officially teased to hit this country on July 15. It’s called the Realme 3i. And as the name suggests, it will be the slightly modified variant of the original third-gen handset.

As GSMArena reports, the Realme 3i has also appeared on GeekBench. The latter showed our protagonist will be packed with a MediaTek Helio P60 chip and a 4GB of RAM. Before we move on, we should point out these features reflect its category. But if the 4GB memory is mainly used on low-end handsets, the P60 is a classic mid-range SoC. So the Realme 3i is going to fight in the low-to-mid-range niche.

Also, the GeekBench document showed the Realme 3i comes with a model name of Realme RMX1827. The latter scored 1420 points at the single-core test and 5070 at the multi-core test.

As for the rest of the features, we have heard the Realme 3i will use a drop screen design, dual-cameras on both sides, a fingerprint identification module on the back, and Android 9.0 out of the box.

We are not sure what upgrades the Realme 3i will get in the camera and battery units. Although there are speculations it could come with as much as a 64MP rear camera, given that the company had earlier confirmed it will launch a smartphone with such a camera in India soon. While sounds too good to be true for a cheaper device, we had like to take it with cautious optimism.

Though the launch date is approaching, surprisingly, we don’t have much information about this phone. However, it’s known the Realme 3i won’t be alone at the event. The much-talked Realme X will be announced on the same day as well. The Realme India head had earlier revealed that the device will be priced under Rs 18,000 ($262).
