Redmi Note 8 Sold Over 300,000 Units On The First Day

This morning, Xiaomi’s Lu Weibing announced that the first day of sales of the Redmi Note 8 Pro broke 300,000 units.

At the end of August, Redmi officially launched the new machine Redmi Note 8 Pro, the world’s first Helio G90T processor phone. It also comes with a 64MP quad-camera. The 6GB + 64GB version is sold for 1399 yuan ($195). Yesterday was the first days of sales. On the morning of September 6, the second round of sales will go live.

In terms of design, the Redmi Note 8 Pro adopts a 3D four-curved glass body and is equipped with a 6.53-inch full-screen. It adopts COF packaging technology and has three colors of Fritillian white, ice jade, and electro-optical gray.

As for the configuration, the Redmi Note 8 Pro sports the Helio G90T processor. The latter comes with 2 ARM Cortex-A76 and 6 Cortex-A55 cores. There is a built-in 4500mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charge through Type-C interface. But the phone retains the 3.5mm headphone jack too. Plus, we can find a multi-function NFC support and infrared remote control.

As said, one of the key features of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is the 20-megapixel front camera and the 64MP quad-camera on the back. The main camera uses the Samsung GW1 sensor. The latter uses a 1/1.7-inch ultra-large bottom sensor, which is 34% larger than the 48MP CMOS. Also, it supports four-in-one pixel technology. Samsung has also added ISOCELL PLUS technology to ensure high color reproduction while improving sensitivity by 15%. At the same time, the intelligent ISO technology can ensure that the highlights of the photos are not exposed, and the noise in the dark parts is less.

In terms of price, the Redmi Note 8 Pro 6GB+64GB version is at 1399 yuan, the 6GB+128GB version costs 1599 yuan, and the 8GB+128GB version is available at 1799 yuan.
