Smartisan Nut Pro 2S Glare Blue Unboxing

On August 20, Hammer Technology released the Smartisan Nut Pro 2S in Beijing. The 4GB+64GB version is priced at 1798 yuan ($262), the 6GB+64GB version is priced at 1998 yuan ($291), and the 6GB+128GB version is priced at 2,298 yuan ($335).

Compared to the Nut Pro 2, the design of the Smartisan Nut Pro 2S does not change much. The main difference is the addition of a new color option – glare blue and glare red while retaining the classic color of carbon black and pure white.

The main upgrade point of the Smartisan Nut Pro 2S is performance and camera. It uses a 6.01-inch 18:9 OLED display as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. The latter is paired with up to 6GB of memory, up to 128GB of storage, and a battery capacity of 3600mAh.

In terms of photographing, the Smartisan Nut Pro 2S comes with a 12MP + 5MP rear dual camera, of which the 12MP main lens is Sony’s flagship sensor of IMX363. Its unit pixel area is 1.4μm, and it supports Dual PD dual-core focus as well as ArcSoft algorithm. The well-known camera evaluation agency DxOMark scored 95 points for the Nut Pro 2S, which is quite competitive at the same price.

In addition, the Smartisan Nut Pro 2S brings new and innovative features in software interaction: bullet SMS and infinite screen. The infinite screen function can quickly switch, browse multiple applications, and zoom in and out of the program interface. For example, when opening a panoramic photo in an album, you can enlarge the image through the infinite screen and move the cursor to see the detailed image details.
