Sony To Launch Three Snapdragon 660-Powered Smartphones Soon

Recently Sony announced it has no interest in making and selling smartphones and there is no idea to compete with the top brands. But the Japanese tech giant will stay afloat for a single purpose – to know the trends from the horse’s mouth. Thus its existence in the smartphones market pursues only one goal, it’s a strategic goal. We know Sony is a screen, camera sensor, and other components supplier for various smartphone makers. So it should be there to know what will be the next. As for Sony, the company is going to launch the world’s first 4K OLED screen smartphone in the nearest future. It’s assumed to be the Sony Xperia XZ Pro. That’s why we are waiting for February 26 to see this handset at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. But how many of you will empty your wallets to acquire this handset? I mean most of us will be admiring the view but will get our hands on a mid-range Sony device. Even if so, we have no reason to worry about a thing, as three new Sony phones were leaked on GeekBench.

According to the leaked screenshots, there will be at least three mid-range phones carrying model numbers of Sony H3123, Sony H4113, and Sony H4213. Moreover, there is a Sony H3113, which is assumed to be one of the variants of the former model. The Sony H4113 may have another variant known as H4133. At last, the Sony H4213 and Xperia H4233 may be two variations of the same device.

As for leaked specs, all three models are said to be packed with a Snapdragon 660 chip. Thus they are aiming at the super mid-range market. Therefore, their hardware should be appropriating. Unfortunately, the spotted documents don’t reveal anything but the 3GB of RAM in the Xperia H3123 and H4113, and a 4GB of memory in the Xperia H4233. Of course, they will come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
