All manufacturers have joined the marathon of full-screen phones. Even Lenovo doesn’t lag behind the other companies. Recently, the manufacturer announced it will hold a conference on March 20 in Beijing and will uncover its own full-screen model named the Lenovo S5. Today, the vice president of Lenovo Group announced the highlights of the phone.
According to the officials, the Lenovo S5 will use a metal body and a full-screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The screen also comes with a diagonal of 5.65 inches and provides a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Thus it will make a tough competition to many top branded models.
Unfortunately, we don’t know what a chip it will be packed with, but it’s said to come with an octa-core architecture and a frequency of 2.0GHz. The SoC will be paired with a 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of native storage. These features are standard for mid-range devices coming our way from first-tier smartphone vendors.
The rest of features include an AI assistant making the use easier. The phone also supports facial unlock feature, which is a mainstream as well. The battery is 3000mAh, which is sufficient for a daily use. At last, the Lenovo S5 will run on ZUI based on Android 8.0.
We also know, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be announced in a few days, on March 16. So it turns out two identical handsets are launched at the same time. Which one will you choose?
