X9 Plus Smartwatch review

X9 Plus is a stylish, simple yet powerful smartband that could be your reliable partner in tracking your fitness activities and health. Thanks to GearBest, we could test it for you!

It’s waterproof, has anti-lost functions, support reminders and alarms and also has a heart-rate monitor which measure your blood pressure and the oxygen level in your blood.

The Box

The X9 has a rectangular 0.95 inch OLED screen with 128×64 resolution and a soft rubber strap, pleasant to wear on, which can be adjusted to your wrist, so you can’t accidentally lost it.
It’s shipped with an elegant black box, where you can also find the magnetic USB charger cable and a quick configuration guide that links you to the app store to download the official application.

The standard view once you “switch-on” the smartwatch show the hour, day, day of the week, the battery and a little pulsing bluetooth icon that reminds you to connect your phone. To view the other functions and the total progress you simply must tap on the bottom side of the screen.

The App

Pairing the smartband with your device is really simple, just activate the bluetooth antenna on your device, open the app and here begin the sync between the X9 and smartphone.

As you open the app, you could set your user data under “User profile” as your age, weight, height, then personalize the other settings, such as reminders or alarms.

If you want the X9 Plus to ring and sent you a notice when you lost your phone or the bluetooth connection is lost, go to the settings menu and activate the “Missing reminder” in the “Remind setting” menu. Then go to the smartwatch and long-press the bottom of the screen when you reach the phone search icon: an alarm will ring from the X9 Plus and on your smartphone will appear a notice.

The working

I tested the pedometer running a gps-related fitness tracker app and I can say that it works really fine and is very accurate.

As for the blood-related tests, I can confirm that my blood pressure has always been around 124/75 and I did a test just last week.

With every function, the app can give you a week-long report or the statistical data for a month. It’s really easy and intuitive to use.

The X9 Plus Smartwatch isn’t a perfect fitness tracker but if you want a great smartband with a large screen at a great price, this is what you should buy.
