Xiaolajiao 7X (aka Red Pepper 7X) With A Full-Screen Launched at 899 yuan

The full-screen technology has strengthened the competition. Almost all smartphone makers have launched their own models with the trendiest features. But some of them even have managed to come in with ultra-budget pricing. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 is an absolute leader in the market with a 5.7-inch screen and a 799 yuan ($124) price tag. The closest rivals to this phone were the 360 N6 and Huawei Enjoy 7S that were priced at 1399 yuan ($217) and 1499 yuan ($232), respectively. Thus they cost twice more than the Redmi 5. Therefore, they couldn’t make a tough competition to it. However, today Xiaolajiao announced another full-screen phone named the Xiaolajiao 7X. It is available for 899 yuan ($140), which makes it one of the closest competitors of the Xiaomi Redmi 5.

Xiaolajiao 7X

The Xiaolajiao 7X sports a 5.5-inch TFT touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels, a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core chip (4x Cortex-A53 @ 1.5GHz + 4x Cortex-A53 @ 1GHz), 4GB of RAM, 64GB of ROM, Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, 2800mAh Li-Po non-removable battery, 5MP front shooter, and 5+13MP dual-camera on the back. The front camera supports facial recognition, while the main camera module comes with up to 11 shooting modes.

These specs are not surprising, but it’s pretty nice to see Android 7.0 pre-installed. Actually, the Xiaolajiao 7X runs on Freeme OS based on the seventh-gen Google’s mobile operating system. The software supports split-screen function, dual apps, and so on.

Xiaolajiao 7X

This brand is gaining momentum. If asked a few months back, we’d say nothing worthy coming our way from this company. But the latest models of Xiaolajiao look and act quite acceptable. Just remember the Xiaolajiao X, which is the best phone they have ever made yet.
