Xiaomi CC Selfie-Centric Phone Appeared On Promo Video

A few months ago, Xiaomi bought the smartphone business of Meitu. The latter has been known for its selfie-centric smartphones and corresponding technologies. As you guess, Meitu handsets were mainly made for females. But it needed more power to survive in the fierce smartphone market. Not to lose all the achievements and to continue to operate somehow, the company decided to transfer its smartphone business to a more mature and more famous company. After a couple of months, Xiaomi announced about a new series, namely Chick and Cool (CC). The first phone from the Xiaomi CC line is on the way. And it’s logical this phone has begun appearing on various leaked photos.

We know the first model will be dubbed as the Xiaomi CC9e. Yesterday, Xiaomi posted a video on Weibo, showing the Xiaomi CC new camera and a boy taking a selfie.

From the picture we can see, the Xiaomi CC9e uses a water drop screen and a triple-camera on the back. One of the sensors comes in a white circle. Previously, we heard this new phone will be equipped with a 6.39-inch screen, a 32-megapixel front camera, a 48MP main sensor, a Snapdragon 712 SoC, and a 4,000mAh battery.

At the moment, we have no official information when the Xiaomi CC phone will go on sale. But the CC is one of few series Xiaomi has left in its arrangement. As you should know, the company has announced it will launch handsets for three lines only – the original Mi line, the MIX line, and the new CC lin. Thus, the Note and MAX series are excluded from the list. So there is every reason to think we won’t have to wait long for the first smartphone with Meitu’s selfie technologies.
