Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Custom Version Announced Along With Two Other
Xiaomi announced the acquisition of Meitu phone business at the end of last year. After a few months of this statement, we began hearing more and more rumors about the upcoming Xiaomi – Meitu phone. Later, it became known there will be a new series, namely CC. This evening, Xiaomi held a new product launch conference and announced the much-anticipated Xiaomi CC9 series handsets. Apart from the original model and the CC9e variant, the company also uncovered the Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Custom Version. It is codenamed as the ‘Little Fairy’. And as the name suggests, this phone is designed for females.
The main difference in this model is the more powerful beauty filter based on new technology. In fact, in the CC9 Meitu Custom Version, Xiaomi is responsible for hardware production and development. But the camera part is 100% developed by Meitu. As previously announced, Meitu will provide image technology and beauty algorithm support for Xiaomi. This is the case.
The Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Custom Version sports a Xiaomi’s native camera with super-clear resolution. But the latter is combined with the Meitu AI ‘brain’. This cooperation brings a variety of portrait camera modes, including classic portraits, movie portraits, party models, etc. There are also 22 kinds of Beauty effects. Of course, it supports super night scene.

As for the key features, the CC9 Meitu Custom Version uses a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, a 4030mAh battery, a front 32MP camera, a rear Sony 48MP triple-camera, and so on.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Custom Version 8+256GB is priced at 2599 yuan ($436). Thus, this price is more cost-effective than that of the previous Meitu phones. It will go on sale on July 5.
In addition, Xiaomi also launched the exclusive accessories of the Little Fairy, including a transparent bag, a wish bracelet phone case, and a soft light.
