Xiaomi Mi 7 Leaked On GeekBench Screenshot
The first smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 are already out. But the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is going to be the first handset with this chip to hit the Chinese market. This simply means the Mi MIX line models are starting to replace the original Mi-series models. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 7 that is going to launch way later has more time to become perfect. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S has already leaked on an AnTuTu database with a whopping 270K result. But what about the Mi 7?
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S has been spotted with a codename of Xiaomi Polaris. Many have been thinking that’s the Mi 7. But later it became known we are dealing with the third Mi MIX family model. Today, another mysterious phone with a codename of the Xiaomi Dipper leaked on a GeekBench database. This one is thought to be the Xiaomi Mi 7.
There is no doubt the forthcoming Xiaomi Mi 7 will be packed with the Snapdragon 845. But there has been no official confirmation of this. So let’s skip thinking we are unaware of its chip. The leaked screenshot showcases it scores 2449 points in a single-core test, while the multi-core score is 8309.
This is an astonishing result. But what’s more interesting there are some details hinting at the presence of the Snapdragon 845. First, the motherboard field includes the model number of sdm845. I guess it stands for Snapdragon Motherboard 845. Apart from this, the screenshot shows Qualcomm as the manufacturer, an octa-core architecture with an ARM implementer and base frequency of 1.77GHz. At last, we see there is a 6GB of RAM. When looking at the memory speed options, we can see the Mi 7 shows way better performance than the Samsung Galaxy S9+.
