According to the documents coming our way from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will sport a 6.9-inch screen with a 2160×1080 resolution and a 5400mAh battery. However, seems there will be various models. A product page of the higher version dubbed the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro went live. It shows, our protagonist will come with a Snapdragon 710 chip, seen on the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE first and followed by the VIVO NEX A. This SoC is based on a 10nm process manufacturing and uses two Kryo 360 2.2GHz cores, six Kryo 360 1.7GHz small cores, an integrated Adreno 616 graphics, an X15 LTE baseband, and a Hexagon 685 DSP.

Apart from this, the leaked screenshot reveals the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Pro will be using a 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, a dual-camera with a Sony IMX362 12MP resolution lens, double Amplifier stereo speakers, and there will be two color options of black and gold.

However, the TENAA documents showed the alleged Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be packed with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Thus there is nothing common with the Snapdragon 710. Probably, it’s the Snapdragon 636. This is another reason to think there will be two versions.

The rest of features revealed by TENAA include a 3/4/6GB memory, 32/64/128GB storage (maximum 128GB), 8MP front camera, back-mounted fingerprint identification, and a metal body.
