Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Unboxing

On July 19, Xiaomi officially released the ‘Large Screen Power’ Max series new generation smartphone, namely, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. The machine is equipped with a 6.9-inch large full-screen, a 5500mAh charging a treasure-class large battery, a rear 12MP + 5MP AI dual-camera, and a Snapdragon 636 processor. The 4+64GB version is priced at 1699 yuan, and the 6+128GB price is 1999 yuan.

As we said, the front of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is equipped with a 6.9-inch 18:9 full-screen with a resolution of 2160×1080 and a screen ratio of 85.19%. Though the phone comes with a large screen, due to the full-screen technology it fits the same body as the Mi Max 2. On the back, it uses a metal unibody with a hidden nano-injection antenna. At the same time, the handset continues this year’s Xiaomi’s thin waist design that provides an excellent grip. There are three color options including ochre black, dream gold, and deep sea blue.

In terms of camera and photographing, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is packed with a 12MP+5MP rear camera, the main sensor of which has 1.4 microns of a single pixel area. It also supports Dual PD full-pixel dual-core focus and AI scene camera function. On the front, this smartphone carries an 8MP camera, supporting single-camera background blur, soft light, and face unlock.

Many have been waiting for the Mi Max 3 to come with a Snapdragon 710 like the Mi 8 SE, but we knew it will be packed with a Snapdragon 636 chip. The latter is the lightened version of the well-known Snapdragon 660 SoC. That’s why it’s capable of providing great performance. Plus, Xiaomi has added some game optimization features.

At last, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is equipped with a built-in 5500mAh rechargeable super-capacity battery, which supports 9V2A QC3.0 fast charge. The phone can be charged to 71% of the battery within one hour. In addition, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 continues the reverse charging function of the previous generation. It is upgraded the charging specification to 5V/1.2A, which doubled the charging performance.
