Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S To Have a Chin Like the Current Model

There have been too many assumptions and leaks concerning the appearance and launch date of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S. Many geeks have also managed to promote it as a full screen 3.0 technology hinting at the new border-less design it will come with. According to them, the Mi MIX 2S will either use the iPhone X-like bangs screen or a comprehensive full-screen with a peephole on the upper right corner for the front camera. But today the manufacturer officially announced the launch date of this device and ‘accidentally’ revealed some information concerning its look.

First, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be officially released on March 27 in Shanghai. Thus this the first time when a Xiaomi holds a conference outside Beijing. One way or another, we’ll learn more in coming days.

As for the appearance, Xiaomi launched a video showing the AI camera features of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S. We have learned about this way earlier. So it didn’t surprise us. But in the video, we can see the Mi MIX 2S is still using a chin. Yes, it’s narrowed a lot, but it’s there. This simply means there is no conversation about full screen 3.0. If it was so, the manufacturer itself calls the phone the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3. By the way, the same can be seen on the official poster.

Third, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is said to be the first Mi MIX-line model with a dual-camera on the back. It’s said to use a Sony IMX363 sensor that supports a full pixel dual-core focus technology and many other awesome features. Actually, the selling point of this phone will be AI camera and not the appearance.
