Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S Warm-Up Message: How Fast is Your 845?

We have been waiting for the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S to release during the MWC 2018. But the manufacturer introduced only old models. Interestingly, every year, Xiaomi chooses one top-class model to throw gloves. Last year, when it was launching the second-gen Mi MIX 2, its rival was the iPhone X. As for this year and the newer model, it will be the Huawei P20. As you guess, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be launched on the same date as the P20. Thus it will happen on March 27.

Honestly, we have heard about this launch date earlier. But there was no official confirmation of this date. Today the company posted something interesting via its social media account. It wrote ‘challenge, how fast is your 845?’ As you guess, Xiaomi is talking about the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which will be among the rest of high-end specs of the Mi MIX 2S.

According to the previous leaks, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will continue using ceramic as a body material, while the screen ratio will be enhanced as well. Thus the visual effects are improved a lot. That’s why the company is promoting it as a Full Screen 3.0. This simply means the company has done a step further in terms of screen-over-body ratio.

As for the hardware, the phone will sport the latest Snapdragon 845 chip. It’s based on the second generation of 10nm process node using a Kryo 385 architecture. The CPU is clocked at 2.8GHz, and it comes with an Adreno 630 GPU, dual-channel LPDDR4X memory support, peak download speed of 1.2Gbps, and peak upload rate of 150Mbps. As for the phone itself, it’s said to come with an 8+128GB memory combination. Thanks to such a powerful hardware the leaked AnTuTu score seems quite possible (273.741). At last, this will be the first dual-camera phone from the Mi MIX series.
