Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 Back Panel Spotted In A Photo
When Xiaomi began working on the second-gen Mi MIX 2, we were informed its designer is the same person created the original model. At this moment, there are no hints whether the company has already started designing the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 or not. Moreover, we have no information who is responsible for its design. Will it be Philippe Starck? But all these secrets do not prevent many geeks from coming with various assumptions, renders, and spy photos. Today a couple of mysterious photos have been spotted showing an iPhone X design and a full-screen with a 100% of screen-to-body ratio.
At present, you can find three major types of full-screen technologies. One of them has been invented by Xiaomi and it’s called three-bezel-less display design. This means a phone using this design cancels the forehead and locates all the sensors on the chin. The second type comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen, but there are narrowed forehead and chin. And finally, the third type comes with both the forehead and chin, but there is also a home button on the latter. As you can see, none of them provides a 100% screen-to-body ratio. The manufacturers have to develop new technologies in order to put the sensors under the screen.
The first company we count on is Xiaomi. Though the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is awaited to come in September 2018 only, we are already getting leaks concerning it. Today a photo has been leaked showing a glass back panel of this phone. As you can see, there is a special printing with ‘MI MIX DESIGNED BY XIAOMI’. However, the vertical camera layout looks like the iPhone X. But there is still a back-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Undoubtedly, all smartphone makers including Xiaomi will do their best to increase the screen-to-body ratio of their smartphones. Those who succeed and approach 100% will benefit a lot. If the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 comes with such a screen, it will continue keeping its leading position. This photo doesn’t give any information about the front panel, but it hints the next Mi MIX will sport a dual-camera. It can be assumed even looking at another photo leaked showing a transparent bumper made for the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3.
