Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Officially Announced at 1099 Yuan

Everything happened as planned. Today, on June 25, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 was officially unveiled. There have been many features known from the pre-heating posters as well as new ones. Let’s get acquainted with all of them.

First, it’s called ‘made for movie and TV content.’ It’s because the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 brings together such a wonderful content as iQiyi, Tencent Video, and Sohu. Among them, the built-in Mi video app supports TV live coverage of CCTV and TV channels.

As for the rest of specs, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is packed with an 8-inch full-screen. The resolution is reduced, as we guessed earlier. Unlike the Mi Pad 3 that came with a 2K screen, this one sports a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200. It uses an aspect ratio of 16:10, which simply means this tablet is longer than the rest models available on the market. So it’s ideal for single-hand operations. The tablet also comes with a metal body, identical to its predecessors.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 sports a super mid-range Snapdragon 660 AIE chip under the hood. Plus, it comes with a smart game acceleration, which is similar to the Huawei’s GPU Turbo. There is also a 6000mAh battery, which is capable of providing a whole day of normal use due to the optimized power consumption. Not surprisingly, there are two cameras – the 5MP camera supporting AI face recognition is on the front, while a 13MP main camera is placed on the back. In terms of connectivity, the tablet has two versions – WiFi-enabled and 4G LTE supporting variants.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 comes in two color options of black and gold. The 3+32GB WiFi version is priced at 1099 yuan, while the 4GB+64GB Wi-Fi version is available at 1399 yuan ($214). At the same time, the 4+64GB LTE version is available at 1499 yuan ($229). They will go on sale on June 29.
