Xiaomi MI5S Plus VS Huawei Honor 8 Design, Antutu, Camera, Battery Review

Dual Rear camera has become the tendency for most current smartphones, such as Huawei Honor 8, Xiaomi Redmi Pro, Xiaomi MI5S Plus, and iPhone 7 Plus, so will dual rear cameras be really good? Yesterday we have compared with Xiaomi MI5S Plus and iPhone 7 Plus, it proves they have both nice dual rear camera. Xiaomi MI5S Plus VS Huawei Honor 8 Specs

Design

As you know Xiaomi MI5S Plus comes with 5.7inch FHD screen, but Huawei Honor 8 only has 5.2inch FHD LTPS screen,  if you like larger screen, Xiaomi MI5S Plus will be a good choice, otherwise, try Huawei Honor 8. According to their hardware, Xiaomi MI5S Plus this time is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, which is the most powerful CPU currently, Huawei Honor 8 is powered by Kirin 950 processor, which owns high-efficiency and high-performance, compared with Kirin 930, the new processor improved its performance 100%, and reduce 30% power consumption, Xiaomi MI5S Plus has RAM 4GB/RAM 6GB, ROM 64GB/128GB, Huawei Honor 8 has RAM 4GB, ROM 32GB/64GB internal storage, therefore, if you want to choose higher RAM, Xiaomi MI5S Plus will be better, so let’s compare its Antutu score.

According to Antutu test, Xiaomi MI5S Plus has over 120K points, but Huawei Honor 8 only has less than 100K points, it proves Xiaomi MI5S Plus will have higher performance than Huawei Honor 8 in theory, But according to Geekbench, Xiaomi MI5S Plus single core has 1799 points, 4166  points multi-core, Huawei Honor 8 single core has 1661 points, 6294 points multi-core. Xiaomi MI5S Plus uses the current popular dual rear camera, 13MP Black,white and colorful dual rear camera, which will be better for night photo shooting. Huawei Honor 8 also uses dual 12MP rear camera but 8MP front camera, in theory, Huawei Honor 8 will have better front-facing shooter, as for back dual camera, let’s check the samples to prove which one is better.

Battery

Xiaomi MI5S Plus is built in 3800mAh battery, but Huawei Honor 8 only has 3,000mAh battery,  in theory, Xiaomi MI5S Plus has longer battery life. Both of them support 4G network, quick charge, fingerprint scanner, USB Type c, but Xiaomi MI5S Plus has supported NFC function, Huawei Honor 8 doesn’t have. The former runs MIUI 8 OS based on Android6.0, the latter also uses its own EMUI 4.1 based on Android6.0. Both of their OS have developed maturely with great popularity.
