Xiaomi Mijia Walkie-Talkie 2 Released at 449 Yuan

In the spring season, in addition to the launch of the new Xiaomi suitcase, the Xiaomi Mijia walkie-talkie 2, which is very useful for travelers, will also be unveiled at the Mi festival.

As early as March 2017, the first generation Xiaomi Mijia walkie-talkie was officially released. The smartphone frequency, support for FM radio, and other features, as well as minimalist design and comfortable grip, made many people explore the world of radio in a new way.

In October 2018, the upgraded version of this product, namely the Xiaomi Mijia walkie-talkie 1S was out as well. It came with a stronger performance, thinner body, and more refined appearance.

The newly released Xiaomi Mijia walkie-talkie 2 is a new upgrade to the previous two generations, officially known as the ‘fighter in the civilian walkie-talkie.’

The Mijia Walkie Talkie 2 has a screen too like the 1s but its LCD and not a dot matrix display. The 1.77-inch screen displays more characters and information such as the battery level and is also visible under the sun.

It features a stable output of 5W power, 5200mAh large battery providing up to 13 days of standby mode and 15 hours of call time IP65 level dustproof and waterproof and a new audio decoding, and the measured distance can reach up to 6 kilometers. Its battery also charges via USB-C (5V/2A) and can be recharged using a power bank.

There is Bluetooth support and an audio jack if you haven’t gone wireless yet. There is an audio processing chip for clear audio when outdoors. The speaker is also bigger and said to be 22% louder than that of the previous generation. The Mijia Walkie Talkie 2 has an IP65 rating so you don’t have to worry about it getting damaged by the rain if you are out hiking. There is also location sharing which can be viewed on the app.

The Xiaomi Mijia walkie-talkie 2 is only priced at 449 yuan ($67) and will be on sale on the day of the Mi festival on April 9.
