On November 4, Xiaomi has released two high-competitive smartphones, Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A, Redmi 4 sells at 499 yuan, $83, and Redmi 4 at 699 yuan, $100, they both are entry-level smartphones with niche price, but many mi fans are very confused to catch which one, Redmi 4A and Redmi 4. Xiaomi Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 Specs comparison

According to comparison, Redmi 4 is better than Redmi 4A in screen resolution,processor, storage, battery, etc.

Redmi 4 has two versions, standard and advanced version, the standard version is powered by Snapdragon 430 processor, RAM 2GB ROM 16GB internal storage at 699 yuan, $116, but advanced version is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor, RAM 3GB ROM 32GB internal storage at 899 yuan, $149, they have 200 yuan, $30 gap with good competition.

Redmi 4A uses plastic design with universal back style, the camera doesn’t stand out, there is a mi logo and speaker under the smartphone, so the total craftsmanship is good.

But Redmi 4 uses metal design which looks very similar to Redmi Note 4, the back metal design processes well, the traditional three step style, it is different from the traditional smartphone that Redmi 4 uses plastic material on the upper antenna line and metal material down the antenna line.

According to Geekbench, they both got the average scores, but theire is some difference from Redmi 4, after all they use different processor, Snapdragon 425 is entry-level one, Snapdragon 625 belongs to mid-range one.
