Xioami Mi Router 4Q Quietly Launched at 99 Yuan

Last year, at an IoT developer conference in China, the manufacturer provided some data concerning their records in various niches. According to the statistics, Xiaomi’s router sales exceeded 18 million, networking equipment more than 800 million. Moreover, Mi Router gets to interact more than 110 million devices a day, in which the majority (82%) are daily used devices such as phones, smartbands, laptops, etc. The demand for the Xiaomi Mi Router is very in China and worldwide. That’s why it launches newer models frequently. The latest of them was the Xiaomi Mi Router 4 announced a month ago. Today, the company quietly launched the Xiaomi Mi Router 4Q in a blue color option. This router is priced at 99 yuan ($15).

This is the company’s cheapest router. So it’s reasonable to see some features cut. But we should learn what key features it comes with. The Xiaomi Router 4Q is packed with a Qualcomm QCA9561 chip, clocked at 775MHz and coupled with 64MB of memory. It also features an 802.11n wireless protocol, uses three high-gain omnidirectional antennas, supports 3×3 MIMO technology, and has a maximum bandwidth of 450Mbps.

What’s more important, for Xiaomi and Mijia smart home appliances, it innovatively designed the MiNET button to support MIOT which ensures that it quickly connects Wi-Fi. This new smart device is networked for the first time and can be connected to a network with one click without a password. Honestly, it’s inherited from the original Mi Router 4.
